Sunset
When the sun is down,
Everything seems to be washed away,
The sky is so clear,
With different shades of blues and greens
Everything seems to be still for a moment
Looking out and quietly mesmerizing the beauty of our nature.
As lights start to twinkle from far about,
The sun rays start to bid goodbye,
“ Till I see you again tomorrow”
with a new day, a new spirit
and a new chapter of life.
I love the sunsets also. to me this is the time of day that is saying Thank you for a wonderful day of life. I love to go out on the bay and watch the sun set on the city skyline and the boats in the bay. Another favorite of mine is sun rise. the beginning of a new day and new photo opportunities
Yes! Sunset seems to bring everything to a closure…wrap things up nicely before another day comes..It brings some sort of unexplained comfort to me.

Thank you for your comments. I have not begun a blog yet but looking forward to getting one started. I wanted to post some of my wedding photos and my evening on the Casco Bay at sunset. I have one photo that has received so many comments and I gave the photo to one of my girl friends from work. After looking at it with her I came up with a spiritual name for the photo wrote the name on the back of the photo and signed it for her. With the Allstate office closing in South Portland i will have time to explore my passion of photography more and do more things. Hope to have my blog up soon and I hope you stop by.
